The new owner has purchased the 4.6 ha estate with 2.6 hectares of excellent terroir and plans to develop a high quality wine from the existing vineyard. His objective is to offer a “boutique” wine that is as good as the top Bordeaux wines but at a fraction of the cost. There is a plan to increase the size of the vineyard make upgrades to the property and vineyard – the château upgrades will be performed by NS STUDIO Architecture + Intérieurs, Verbier.

Although my family has owned La Caussade for many years now we are delighted to pass it on to such enthusiastic new owners.
With the 2015 vintage looking like it will be one of the best of the century investors are taking a keen interest in Bordeaux at the moment and we anticipate 2016 to be one of the best years for vineyard sales for some time.
