Chateau Quercy dates back to the middle ages and was almost destroyed during the French revolution. It was re-built at the end of the 18th century in a Néo-classic style which was fashionable at the time. Its name comes from the latin word “ Quercus” meaning “oak” of which there are several in the park in front of the Chateau.

To date there were 90 Bordeaux chateaux owned by Asian private owners or corporations and that number will have risen to over 100 by the end of 2014. There were 36 transactions during 2013.
